Whenever I contemplate moving back to Austin, there are some things that bother me. For one thing, it’s really beautiful around here. When I lived in Austin, I used to drive through a specific neighborhood just because it reminded me of the country. I’d really miss seeing the cows and open spaces.

Another thing I would miss is the community. Even though it is hard for me to make good friends here, I like running into people I know in public. I saw a librarian I used to work with at the store an hour ago, and earlier today, a nurse from my doctor’s office was in the same meeting I was about her kid. When I go to the library, they bend over backwards to make sure I get what I need. They know me by name.

There isn’t very much traffic here, and that is refreshing. The weather is also better here than in Austin, due to us being located in a small valley of some sort that seems to divert the really horrid weather.

My family is here, and so is G. Even though I see my family far less than I thought I would, I would still miss them. Moving away from G. would be weird.

I’m so mixed up. I’ll figure it out eventually. Or maybe intuitively the solution will come to me. That’s what I’m hoping for.
