Impromptu Pink Flower Vase

small-pink-flower-vase.jpg

Every Easter, I give our secretary a little something. Since she’s been on a low-carb diet, the usual cute little basket of candy is out. This took 15 minutes to make. I gradually put some craft glue down one side of the bottle, and just wound the yarn (Cascade 220) around the bottle. Then I grabbed a felted flower that I had laying around and glued it and a bead on the bottle. Easy peasy. I could have gotten the yarn a little straighter, though. I mean, this is first grade stuff! Still, I like how it turned out.

I’m also sure it will show up on my pink flower blog. ;-)

  4. That is very clever and cute. If it’s first grade stuff, I must be in pre-school!

  6. Ah, I love the felted flower!

I think anyone would be happy to get that as a present. Although, the yarn could be a bit straighter. (Maybe when you’re in second grade.)
