There was a very large spider web in my new yard. It’s gone now, although I don’t know why. It was really cool though. When we approached, the spider bounced around on it like it was a trampoline.

I’d like to say it was I who took this picture, but I think it was Sage. Hence the interesting perspective. The spider is the glowing thing in the middle that looks like the sun. Although, at the time, it was simply a plain yellow spider.

Interesting picture! I thought at first that it was a broken window (like, from a gunshot!) Jeesh.

That is the coolest picture ever! I think spider webs are beautiful to start with–too bad I’m not fond at all of the creatures themselves. I would want to know where it went!!

Great photo! It’s weird how webs are always in flux, coming and going. I guess it’s a spider’s life.

What a fantastic web! I have a special, if rather strange, fascination for spiders. I suppose part of it is the fact that they are so abused by many others that I feel sorry for them. I wonder what kind of spider it was? Sounds a little like our local ‘banana spider’ but it would be interesting to research it and find out.
