You Get the Ghetto You Pay For

I found a lot very close to where my brother lives for only $2000. I know, you get what you pay for. Still, I had to go and look, anyway. It was a shallow lot with a lot of clearing that needed to be done. Really, that wouldn’t be a problem. The problem was when a student saw me looking up the street on the Internet and asked me why. When I told him I was looking at a lot over there, he said, “You’d let your kid play over there? You’d better get yourself one big dog, too, because they be breaking in your house.”

So the whole cute small town thing is such a lie. I’m frustrated.
