My Antisocial Cat

Varmint really hates most people and other living things, which is a shame for Sage, who wishes that the kitty liked him.

It’s interesting how cats are born with their personalities, just like people. She was a tiny little starving thing when I brought her home. She’s always been nice to me, but has never liked anyone else except for Salsa, the dog. She bit and tormented her own kitten, Lucky, until I had to find a new home for the kitten. Salsa had to take over nursing duties, as she has no motherly instinct. She hides whenever anyone else comes into the house, and makes a very distinct meowing sound when Sage approaches, which very clearly means, “Go away”. He gets his feelings hurt!

G. suggested that I get a kitten so that Sage would have a friendlier pet, but Varmint would make its life a living hell. Good thing we have Salsa!
