The Evil Tooth Is OUT

My dentist put me right on his schedule and pulled out the tooth today. When I told other people that I was having a wisdom tooth pulled, they acted like it was a huge big deal.

Well, I was sitting in the dentist’s chair, and he spent a couple of seconds doing something with the tooth, when he took his gloves off. I thought, “Shoot, he’s going to send me to the orthodonic surgeon.” Turns out he had already pulled it! So I don’t anticipate having the bruised jaw that I had the last time I had a wisdom tooth pulled, and I know I don’t have stitches. I’m not sure how that was avoided, because almost all of the tooth was underneath the gumline. My dentist rocks!

I’m looking forward to NOT being in pain 24/7. :-)

I’m glad that the evil tooth is gone, and easily. I remember wisdom teeth extraction as a horrible experience. I was sick as a dog for a week.
