I’ve spent the morning surfing the Internet with the key words “pull your own tooth”. Seriously. I’ve decided that it won’t be wise, because it is in the very back and I don’t think I can get a grip on it. During my search, I learned that many people in the UK are pulling their own teeth due to lack of sufficient dental care. Of course the people here have seized upon this as proof that socialized medicine doesn’t work. Well, if that’s the case, why am I contemplating pulling my own tooth because there is no dentist available soon enough to keep me from going crazy with pain and because I have other things I’d rather spend $1000 on? I don’t think the problem is only in the UK. Mexico, on the other hand, seems to have it good. Wish I lived closer to the border.
