Picnic

sageonrock.jpg

Yesterday, it was 68 degrees outside, so Sage and I went and had a picnic. We are so fortunate to have lots of trails and gardens around here. The university has a strong Horticulture program, and has not one, but two areas where there are trails and the trees are labeled. This is the one picture of got of Sage that wasn’t “cheesy”. I need more zoom on my camera!

Today, it hasn’t gotten above 49, which is cold for us, and it is now freezing at night! I do love this time of year, though. It makes up for all of those steamy 100 degree days.

  4. I still can’t believe Americans actually use Fahrenheit. I think it is actually a joke you are all pulling on the rest of the world. I for one am not falling for it.

  8. I’m glad you got the picnic in while the weather was nice. Here it has recently been in the 80′s and I’m driving with the top down on the Miata. Today a cold front came through. It’s supposed to get down to 20 degrees tonight! That’s horrible for Florida. I guess I need to find the heavy coat and gloves.

  10. Not completely sure what those temperatures translate to. What I do know is that it’s FREEZING in England after a relatively mild few days, not really picnic weather although I did see some foolhardy types bbq-ing on the beach. Anyway, nice shot of Sage, that kid has a great smile!
