This time, it worked to my advantage, as the judge was an old friend from high school. I was really embarrassed about having to go in front of him for the divorce–what, call Mike “Your Honor”?!?, but when I was up at the bench, he asked me how Sky’s finger was, since I had been talking on the phone with him when it happened and had hung up almost immediately without calling back to explain what had happened. So what with explaining all of that, I almost forgot I was there for the divorce, which was a pro se that went smoothly–no kids, no property. Salsa is truly adorable and the kids looked like they were having a great time. As far as Sky's accident and his nonchalance, it's a "man thing". We were taught to suck it up and bravely trek on through life. Once I had my foot operated on and I insisted on watching the operation while the foot was deadened. Fascinating watching the surgeon cut on me! Sky is from similar cloth. Cute photos! Salsa is truly adorable and the kids looked like they were having a great time.
