Um, I vaguely recall seeing those in our Fred Meyer! ACK. While I don't agree with the concept--there are a ton of conservative types out there who loath the easter bunny... this provides chocolate for them. Although, why they NEED chocolate on this "holiday" is beyond me. :D

Your plan for Sage sounds great...

That's hilarious. I'm surprised there aren't more cross-overs between the rabbit and resurrection motifs. Like Jesus inside one of those windowed-egg creations, or a rabbit on the cross. A Cadbury egg with red cream inside - to represent the blood of Christ. Strawberry flavored. Yum.

Check out this site for weird and wonderful religious tat (mostly from the US), it's a satirical site, maybe you should send them a link to that chocolate cross?!

<a href="http://ship-of-fools.com/Gadgets/index.html" rel="nofollow">ship-of-fools.com</a>

I've seen a silver cross pendant with the word "Armani" where Jesus should be and read about a UK supermarket which sent out a press release informing the British public that Easter Eggs were a symbol of Jesus' birth in the past few days. Realising the mistake they amended it to rebirth, and then the Church of England stepped in a suggested they use the word resurrection. Although, I'd say they're a celebration of Spring and if anything they symbolise our chance to have a new birth because of Jesus' death! Anyway, it's kind of scary how ill informed people are!

I couldn't agree with you more. It just goes to show that most people have absolutely no concept of how far is too far.

I am from the same area as Tonya, and have not seen any chocolate crosses. But I don't go to our local Walmart, so I'm not completely sure. YIKES!!

Jeeezus!

I have to say I haven't seen such a thing in our neck of the woods.

They might have them at Walmart, though.

Brrr!! It's even getting down to the mid 30's tonight here.

I'm pretty tolerant of other's beliefs, but some of the things they think are normal for religion are sure strange!
